Making an international player undroppable because of who he plays with for his club is mental. How many times does he have to do nothing?
Typical Southgates team....boring as ****. Wembley is dead....with the calibre of player's he has at his disposal, this is bad.
Hes never been undroppable ? Hes always been a bit part player before now? Hows he ever going to get used to the system if we dont use him in friendlys?
With his talent on the pitch nowt at all. I just can't work it out everytime I see it, looks like it's tattooed on or summit. Having a joke about it that's all mate, not a serious football debate. There isn't any doubt about his class!
I'm not watching as I said but I imagine Southgate has unleashed the England squad to make full use of the abundance of attacking flair at their disposal! To have that team play out boring wins is a joke, he is wasting a generation of talent being a boring tosser!
Should've been 2-0 there. Think Walker has been poor here which is unusual for him. I'm sympathetic towards international coaches, they have barely any time to install tactics and people expect the team to play like City/Arsenal. Friendlies are frustrating and this is poor but I would never use them as a barometer for how the tournament will go, we beat Germany before Euro 2016 then lost to Iceland.
