It's easy to fake IP address too- so fake email, fake IP... it would be easy to create a sock. Not that I have any, I'm far too lazy for that these days. Used to on the old 606 though. Heck you could have multiple socks on one email address on the old 606 (I don't think having a sock was against the rules even)... but that's actually how I got banned there initially. I had a sock "Little Timmy aged 8½" who was an 'Everton fan'... I got banned for being too young- but since I used the same email address as my main account my main account got banned too. After that, every time moderators found I had returned they would ban me again... because I was "underage" (even though I wasn't, I just had a sock that was)... I think after a while and several dozen accounts they even forgot why they banned me in the first place.
Yeah I've been with m'lady for 24 years now. We did get married but it slightly surprised me that she wanted to, I came home one day when we'd been together for a decade and she was just sat on the couch planning a wedding with her mum. I wasn't fussed either way - I'm not religious and didn't really care on societies views so wouldn't have bothered myself - but she said she'd decided she wanted to so I agreed. Never proposed though and occassionally someone asked us about our engagement and I just say I didn't ever actually ask - I think people expected me to at some point but like we've got 3 kids and have been together for ages I'm not convinced engagements or marriage really make any difference. If people want to break up nowadays I don't think many are put off by needing a divorce. For me the biggest steps are moving in together and then having kids. The rest is just a sideshow.
Just catching up with this but I hoped the end of your story was going to be: I joked "What are going to confess? You going to tell him about us?" And she responded quite seriously "of course, I need to ask forgiveness for premarital sex". So I pointed out that we hadn't been having sex and she said "well that's the other thing I need to confess"
I genuinely don't take any notice of ip's so anyone using fake ones (vpn) just for here is wasting their time. We've all been around long enough to know each other, everyone in the main gets along, people sometimes have disagreements but that's perfectly normal in life. I don't need to do all that stuff you spouted to bin someone lol
