Indeed. Their point was that yes, they did the final calculations, but that they had no say on the input of data that was calculated. As said, that was dreamt up by the Tufton St alumni SPADs employed at extortionate cost by the Tories since 2010 (I have a really dull article on this, should you wish to read it - but it is an important principle about how the TPA and the IEA have now taken a stranglehold on Conservative policy). Sunak doubled down though that the civil service had underwritten those figures, and they palpably hadn't. Here is the point - why was he SO desperate that he doubled down on this claim, even knowing the CS are completely denying them - when he knows that everyone knows they're bullshit? Answer - it's just aimed at his Trump-like, loony, swivel-eyed base, who don't give a **** about reason or verifiable facts, but who can be tempted over to Reform. It really is Through The Looking Glass time.
Hmm, remember the pearl-clutching when Starmer was supposed to have taken his off to be interviewed by a Muslim website (he hadn't - it was done on a different day with a different jacket)?
THIS.IS.DAN.HODGES. A.CONSERVATIVE. COMMENTATOR. He was the instigator of the bogus Durham Beergate investigation into Stermer, and the ludicrous, 50-odd day Lord Ashcroft-inspired witchhunt against Rayner for £1,5k worth of unpaid CGT (that wasn't). Even the Tories' own rottweilers are turning against them. Like a scene from Game Of Thrones.
I just put the spammer off ignore for ****s and giggles, and I see that the dopey ****er is burbling on and on about the tories, as if anyone actually gives a ****. To cap it off, he's droning on about the made up figures, that everyone on here from all sides has said was a ridiculous thing for him to do. They seem confused as to why those of us they created a fantasy about being tories, don't seem to give a ****. Talk about being desperate and out of touch. I was more looking to see if he had put anything at all about what they expect from Labour, but he's bottled it the same as the other lefties have. The gutless lefties on here are the gift that keeps on giving, and depending how the EU elections play out, it's going to be the icing on the cake watching Labour have to deal with politicians they've insulted and abused in the past, including refusing them entry to the UK. Add in a potential Trump victory, and they've got their work cut out trying to re-build bridges. It shows the sad, sad state of British politics that they're still a better option than the tories over all, but as some of us have consistently said, the bulk of politicians are just self serving ****s trapped in the Westminster bubble, and they rely on useful idiots that back the colour of a rosette. Maybe, just maybe it's taken recent events for them to realise that. If not, I reckon the next couple of years will blow some scales from their eyes. It'd be hilarious if Farage's lot took enough seats to influence parliament. The meltdown on here would be tremendous. If only they knew what they were voting for.
**** me that is some rant in the early hours of the morning. Fair play, he did manage to name drop both Trump and Farage, his ultra right wing heroes, into the rant. Couldn’t quite manage to squeeze in Tommy, but I’m sure he will post something later to make up for it. Apolitical my arse
Pìshed at half 2 in the morning I bet this mental rant sounded like the Gettysburg address to him. He'll regret it when he wakes up around noon though.
I'm sure the President, who **** himself live at a D Day commemoration, will respond that Cuba has the right to invite a nuclear submarine, of a foreign hostile nation to the US, to its waters
I had a little bet with myself on which lightweights would be the first to be triggered, and mention the time when empying their arse on screen with no meaningful response. #transparentandpredictableasfuck
