I'm not worried. I think @Magnus was spot on where Still was concerned. He's had his head turned by the looks of things. And if that's the case. ("If"). Bullet dodged. And it opens the door for Pascal jansen, I'm more happy. It looks like the club have pursued Still as a decent proposition as head coach and offered more. He's looking like someone I don't want at the club . Jansen however, from what I've read about him seems everything I want. And just a hunch. I hope we get him.
They do have a set style of play, They have said plenty of times about the style of play they want, they must of thought Beale would continue that but we became boring without attacking threat under him. Have no idea about Still and his style of play
So why did Dodds, Speakmans mate, play the complete opposite of what TM did if thats the supposed play style? In fact, TM didn't even play the way he did in 22/23 in 23/23. Because we don't have one.
Because he was out of his depth? And mobray played the same way even when we were riddled with injuries and didnt have the players to play that way. Hence why he was sacked imo.
I’m not having that like. I attended a good % of our games last season and we didn’t have a set ‘style of play’. Mowbray even changed his ways before getting the chop.
So the club doesn't have a set play style if it changes so much, which is my point. 22/23 Mowbray was completely different to 23/24 TM and all the evidence shows it.
Good points. Took them a while to get going. Would’ve been promoted automatically if they had a better start to the season.
And that was with the 2nd best squad in the league in my opinion, some would say the best. How on earth will we start the season with our squad if we are underprepared? @FellTop an actual coach has said pre season is the most important time for a coach. We can't allow anything to get in the way of a proactive and positive pre season.
I couldn’t agree more. Absolutely vital. We need some positivity going into pre-season, Dodds simply can’t be in charge. New man in and ready to go.
