We complain about the oil doping of Man City, but there’s no way Real Madrid are keeping within FFP or what ever it is they have in Spain.
I thought they were bank rolled by the Spanish Government or royal family ? Something of that Ilk wasn’t it ?
There is some truth behind it, although it's not as simple as the government handing them money. Real Madrid, and several other Spanish clubs, pay tax rates as Non-Profit Organizations- saving them millions a year. The government has acted as an intermediary to sell land to them for millions below it's actual price. They also provide interest free or extremely low interest loans for clubs, primarily, but not solely, Real Madrid and Barcelona. So, no, they're not directly bank rolled, but the Spanish government plays favourites in La Liga, and the big clubs there do get to save millions of £ each year because of government interference. It's not City level interference, and they would still be massive anyway... but if they're saving £10million a year from government intervention, that's not nothing either. (I don't know that it is £10 mill- I made that number up as a random guess/placeholder).
Why create a website which does that and then stick a watermark with that company name in the corner ffs.
