Supposed to be decided today unless you believe the other rumour of us waiting around for Lens to make up their mind on whether they want him or not.
The owner is responding to criticism, changing the structure of the club and beginning a search for the new manager. They're having to sell players and the supporters aren't happy. In other news the council have announced they're twinning Sunderland with Lens
In the unlikely event he signs,if we're sitting 12th in the league at the end of October, any amount on here, who have previously, enthusiastically agreed with your first option, will rapidly revert to your second.
Bookies odds only change with money being placed doesn't it? if nobody is betting on the other candidates I dont think they change - I dont think there is much money on that market to be honest hence why some candidates are still on like svensson
This is the conclusion. Overboard with the younger lads, which means people are coming out saying "why Mayenda when we could have got x or y".
I always thought it was telling that Michael Walker said it was in doubt unless a U turn was made (which we seemingly done last night). He was clever not to say that it’s fully dead.
Because Maric is close to being done elsewhere isn't it? Going to be an assistant manager. We knocked him back for Still, would be astounded if he decided to come here now. The rumours were going around yesterday that Robinson was coming here, plus the articles on X.
No, not at all. Bookies set the odds that will maximise their profits. Their information comes from an army of agents, owners and journalists.
True but you could say the same about the stuff posted on here, comes down to what and who you believe. Just going by what the articles were saying.
He's not assuming that at all mate ... ... it's just an infantile way of 'stirring things up' and he no doubt believes he's being subtle He's just another, in a series of RTG clowns, coming over acting the idiot ... ... not much acting ability needed in his case
Need to give Still a deadline of say 6pm today to accept our final offer or we move on. If he’s supposedly agreed our previous offer last Sunday, then it shouldn’t really take him long to accept or decline our latest offer. I’m all for going the extra mile to get your 1st choice, but there comes a time when you need to move on.
Predictions for when we get our next manager over the line? I'm getting bored of the speculation on who it is and I'm at the point where I am more interesting in when it is. Checking this thread is becoming an unhealthy compulsion. It must end.
