He WAS a good Championship manager.

 

I have a close relative who worked closely with senior management at Forest, he always told me Davis is a head case with no clue on man management. Not my opinion but someone who saw him at close quarters

 

Was he? I don't see much on his CV that suggests he was much better than proven average.

 

Pleased the club has gone all in on their main target, thats what the fans wanted - hopefully they get it over the line

It sounds like theyve given him a deadline which is what i mentioned on Friday/Saturday, as we can't wait around forever for Still to make his mind up

He always has teams up in the top half with a couple of playoff finals IIRC.

I said Championship as he never done it in the Prem.

 

I was told that he was a horrible character, I think he sent players out to injure other players.

 

Not sure hes ever been a great manager but all about opinions, meant to be a good guy tho

On your mcinnes comment, obviously think it was a bit tongue n cheek but i wanted to comment to say what a job hes done at Killie. Really kicked them on, id like to see him take on a job down south (not us but a good L1 side probably),but i think hes comfortable in scotland now

 

I wasn't sure, so just checked, he was the Derby Manager in the Premier League when they ended up with a record low 11 points.
