Morning. Lovely walk down the coast. Some car nonces setting up for a classic car show at the seafront. Barbecue later.
Lovely and sunny - gonna mow the lawn shortly - got a nice bottle of Henty Weston organic cider icing for when I'm done ....
Been at goodwood since 9am had brekky which was 12 quid of meh, loads of posh cars here again meh, brother flying in about 2hrs so now looking for a quiet spot to bake up
Just been to the park with young un kicked the ball about, taught him a drop of my knowledge in the ocean that exists in my head one day I might be proud of him

Just left goodwood, bros still alive (thats him in the back) and buzzing from his experience.. even took the controls from bognor to Portsmouth so im really chuffed for him.... weather is still glorious so off to see a band and have some chips a cold af pint or 4
Probably not quite the same without a couple of Messerschmitts and a Hienkel up your arse ... but pretty impressive all the same... Bit of trivia - my old man was conscripted right at the end of the war (born in 1930) and was an engineer in the RAF on the Spitfires and Hurricanes...
He proper loved it,, hes mad on spitfires and anything military so that was a life ambition for him ticked off. The pilot done barrel rolls victory rolls, wing waggles, loops and got to fly it himself after.all that. The people on the floor with us were great too, held the doggy while we went on the runway to take pics and ****. Well worth the 5k Hes swinging now after two pints bless him
You have my sympathy brother... started out as a winger in my footie career and tore my hammies in full flight on a couple of occasions - lyrcra cycling shorts helped (calm down @Ponky) tbf during my later years .. Right achilles is currently giving me gyp ... guess it's just part and parcel of getting old
Got dropped off at a Wetherspoons today, less than £3 a pint for the best ales on tap. Then walked to another boozer just over £4 a pint. Had an all day brunch also while n Spoons with a discounted ale special that worked out around £1.50 a pint, fook you London. Prices @Sucky can only dream of. Now I got a headache
