Agreed mate, not sure who id want - always really like Cresswell at leeds. Hes the type of defender our fans will love and i could see him n ballard being class together

He knows what the championship is all about from his time at millwall

Great shout, we’ve been linked previously too on more than one occasion. I don’t believe a CB will be a top target this summer but if there’s value to be had, we’d definitely go in for one.

Ben Gibson and 'good' don't belong in the same sentence. Better players playing in league 2.

I think he’s been decent over the years and his experience fits the profile I feel we need but he’s not whats required in this position.

Yep if theres a quality 1 available then we will go for 1. Hoping alese kicks on as I think he could become a very good championship CB

Maybe 4 years ago. Abhorrent for Norwich this season, him and Batth were both being dropped for a midfielder at one point.

For experienced players it has to be like when we signed Pritch, Evans and Batth they have to still be able to cut it at the level. If not it turns quickly into a Dack situation.

Absolutely. That’s comfortably his best position imo - LCB. Adds lovely balance with the left peg too.

I would prioritise a CB personally, especially if Seelt is going to be out for a while. I prefer Alese as a left back or at most on the left of a 3, unsure on Hjelde, Triantis seems to be a midfielder now, Seelt is injured and then we have O9 and Ballard. Think it's an area we can improve.

He played nearly every game for Norwich last season and played in the playoffs with them? Who would you rather, him or Onien?

I’d prefer Gibson over O’Nien starting week in, week out in this league.

Depends on the game tbh, onien ranked better than gibson in a lot of defensive stats last season

Gibson isnt the player he was, gets caught out loads, struggles passing out from the back, doesnt win the ball back that much for a CB

So i would start o9 for the majority of games tbh, but i also agree we need to look at improving in that area and if we can get better than o9 then great

Remember we had a better defence than norwich last season, just we were so bad going forward compared to them

I wouldnt say that mate, the reason i love football is everyone has different opinions on the game and players

We could all watch the same game and come up with different conclusions on who stood out and where each team could improve - thats why i enjoy hearing your guys opinions on players etc on here

With Seelt out for a while and Triantis unproven as well as questions over Alese’s fitness and Hjielde’s quality I reckon a centre half is quite likely. I’d say Centre forward, central defensive midfielder, Centre half are the priority positions to get some quality and a bit of experience.
