Lad was on 40k at Rangers, absolute madness. Gotta be at least 60k in Turkey and he has been a shocking signing for them in no small part down to attitude by all accounts (I’m currently in Turkey and had a long footie chat with a barkeep Fener fan during the Fiorentina game) On his game he’d take the piss in the Championship
Hes just lost his way abit mate. A fresh start back in England will do him good i think. He'll probs end up at someone like Wba or Hull and become a decent player for them
Brady didn’t help himself but injury was the main issue. Also, on his day he had the ability to take the piss at any level. Remains probably the most naturally gifted player Ive seen for us.
Don't disagree with most of that. Had a bucket load of talent but application was lacking. I had a mate who could have signed for a top level club, but preferred the night life instead. Top level pros sacrifice a lot for a lot if you know what I mean
Yeah, I knew the son of a premier league manager( pretty good one, won the FA cup) and he was brilliant but didn’t really like football much. Could have played at top level but wasn’t interested at all.

Ben Gibsons joined Stoke City after becoming available on a free from Norwich . Its pished me off reading this because he'd have been a brilliant signing for us. Hes one of the best CBs in the league imo, and he was available for nothing. Hes born and bred in Teesside so im sure he'd have jumped at the chance in signing for us. He has bags of experience at this level and him and Ballard could habe been a formidable partnership in this league.
On the face of it a good free signing but Norwich fans have slated him frequently this season. That said they’ve slated the whole defensive unit. He’s missed a fair few games last two seasons but still made 34 appearances last season which isn’t awful.
Gibson hasnt been great last 2 seasons, hes not the player he was - probably needs a change of scenery so a move to stoke will be good for him Not really disappointed that we didn't go for him as feel theres better out there
Agreed. If we’re targeting a CB I’d want him to be better quality than Gibson and someone to come in and partner Ballard straight away. We’ve got decent reserve with O’Nien, Alese and Seelt.
