Yeah, pep guardiola will start work as manager for us next week. He might not though, it depends if he signs the contract on Monday.

I’m not slating Magnus or anybody else with info, but the posters queuing up to cover their tracks or lie for them is embarrassing.

This managerial search has shown that no one on this board is really ITK. And to be honest that’s a positive thing. The club might not be getting everything right, but at least it’s kept in house, where it should be.

I don't disagree fully with this bit, but I think some ITK'S have been pretty close to the mark and shouldn't be discouraged from posting anything they hear, whether right or wrong. It is up to individuals whether they chose to believe them or not. There was no other information posted from 'Journalists' for weeks and as it turns out, one of the ITK's at least was pretty damn close with information, long before the journalists got hold of it. Some journalists have been way wide of the mark

What's keeping my hopes up about Maric is the text message or social media conversation screenshot that was posted on here or otr a few weeks ago, someone contacted Maric and asked him directly if he was joining us and he replied it was looking unlikely, this was just after Still had left Reims and Maric sounded really disappointed, then at the end of the conversation he was asked if he would come and he said if he was asked by the club he would say yes, so perhaps I'm clutching at straws again but it didn't sound as though he'd been put off by us moving for Still. Fingers crossed...

Missed that at the time. Anyone got it saved or can remember who posted it?

Highly doubt it is to be honest mate. All the journos who posted it was off did so in a way that was really hard to believe. None of them have much credibility based on the language used. Some agents playing some classic agent games, and media are frighteningly gullible. Telling he is still in the bookies frame for me.
