As a fervent Brexiteer I couldn’t give a monkeys toss about the EUROS but if you want to post your thoughts on the upcoming tournament then be my guest…!

I'll probably watch England's games and a few of the other "big" teams but I can't get a great deal of enthusiasm for it.Perhaps it'd change if Davis was in the squad?

Not interested in them, Southgate is just a yes FA man with little coaching skill, his team selection stinks. Over last weeks result and now looking forward to the new season

What the hell does it have to do with Brexit?

Were you not arsed about the ‘81 UEFA Cup either?

Bellingham and Foden. Best England midfield of the Premier League era? With Rice holding and Mainoo in reserve, I’d say that’s the strongest midfield since Italia ‘90

    Kane, Palmer, Saka in attack.

It’s only when you start looking at the keeper and backline you realise they might be better suited to playing like Ipswich. We won’t have many 4-3s with Southgate’s dull brand of slow, possession based football.

Alright. Can you give your opinion on the relative merits of the England team please? You started the bloody thread, after all.

Is it better or worse to be dull (Southgate) or **** (the previous 15 or so years after 2002).

All I know is that we’ve got a clueless Manager who doesn’t get the best out of his players and the huge individual talents that they have and we will get knocked out in the Quarters by some tinpot little country.

Sounds like I’m in the minority! I love a summer festival of footie. I get the lack of interest but I don’t get willing England to fail. For all the nonsense with VAR, corruption, winter World Cups and commercialisation the international tournaments have certainly been diminishing in their thrill factor over the last decade or so but the game isn’t dead just yet.

After the group stages the fixtures are not that intensive... time for both!
