Thing is, if he wasn't like that, nobody would try and wind him up. I'm sure QPR supporters are incredulous at PL's assertion that we deserved to win. Personally, I think a draw might have been a fair judgement but QPR never looked like scoring apart from our mistakes and goals win matches not neat football.
I watched the game, I asked my son's opinion, I'll watch the highlights on SKY and on MOTD. Just to hear what other people think. And if nobody thought different from me I'd think I'd gone mad or deaf.
I feel sorry for Warnock. He's got a big key in his back and people keep turning it too far sometimes. Ferguson just shuts up and walks away. Warnock can't and to be fair he's good entertainment. PL likes to be quiet and thoughtful and I think that suits us as a club.

You've made some excellent points there, redruth! When he's not strung out I quite enjoy listening to Colin! Some things he says about some of the referees make it hard to believe that he's a qualified ref himself! When he's on song, he has a fabulous sense of humour, but on his dark side he can be an almighty twat! Who can forget the change of tune from the Tevez saga to the Faulin escapade, his previous statements really came back to bite him there!

Well with him, when they don't win, it is always everything else. He couldnt blame the ref, because every time it came to a comming together of bodys (contact sport) his players would flop on the floor and get a free-kick. So it must be that they were robbed. It will never be that he has put out a side that wasn't good enough to do the job.

They passed it around nicely for about 20 minutes in the 2nd half. Another complete cock up by Barnett gifted them a goal, apart from that, the rest of the match was even/us. Our play when Holt and Hoolahan came on was better than the football QPR played.

He can't take losing, so he always needs to try and have a dig at someone and play his violin.

i thought we were pretty poor today but we were still the better team on the day. warnock is merely trying to cover up his own teams shortcomings. i bet he is disappointed because his team never got going and i never really felt that we weren't going to win the game, despite our fairly ropey performance. its his usual 'sour grapes' routine. we heard it all after his previous visit to carrow road, and the time before that, AND THE TIME BEFORE THAT...

it gets boring and he is always wrong.

    loser.

He is clearly a silly man. To be honest until our subs either team could have won, and we were pretty piss poor for a lot of the match until the subs gave us some heart and fight and they looked adifferent team for the last 15 minutes.

Agreed with everything mentioned about that useless piece of sh1t Warnock. I felt that after a decent opening burst we fell into QPRs way of play as opposed to concentrating on playing to our strengths. Too much hoof ball for my liking but if you have Hoolahan sitting on the bench then that is always likely to happen as there is no link up between front an back!

I think his statements were mainly for the sake of team morale. No good saying that his team were awful.

Calm down everyone, he's not Hitler.

I thought it was an even game and we played the better football over the 90 minutes. Warnock probably was wrong saying we were much the better side but no more so than Lambert if he says you deserved the win (I'm assuming he did). I don't know where you get this idea from that our players 'flop on the floor'. There was one bad tackle in the game and Naughton got a card for it.

Dave, the Tevez and Faurlin cases were very different, hence the different verdicts.

The OP, no you wouldn't. You won, chill out.

I have always quite liked Warnock,he is amusing but there is always that annoyance factor for opposing fans caused by him having a short fuse.I must admit though that his comments yesterday seemed pretty much detached from reality. For the whole of the first half apart from the one chance that Sean Derry (AKA Johnny Wark) missed they didn't look like scoring if the game lasted until a fortnight next Michaelmas. The second half was more even but they didn't have the underrated Grant Holt to rely on.On balance - drugs - probably was.

In my defence on the other thread the "heeey Neil Warnock" chant was sung several times the other day. Along with the industry standard "Warnock, your a c@&%"

My fave chant of the day was a load of QPR fans were giving some Norwich fans some grief at the station, one QPR bloke in particular was getting irate to change of "grumpy, give us a song. Grumpy grumpy give us a song"

The Norwich fans responded with "we came by train, we came by car. We're taking the piss out of QPR"

    Golden!

i just had a quick browse on the qpr page and they all seem to believe what warnock said to be true!! are they all mad? i thought qpr were bloody awful, certainly the poorest team i've seen this season. lets face it, we didn't have to play very well to beat them did we. it was a mundane, routine, 2-1 win, the likes of which you often see. qpr played ok for about 15 minutes in the 2nd half and barely created a single clear cut chance in 90 minutes. warnock's comments were ridiculous at the time but their fans agreeing with it are more bonkers than i ever thought possible!

Thank goodness we're level headed, fair minded, completely unbiased NCFC supporters. The rest of the football world, naturally, is totally the opposite.

I'd like to think, despite our bias, we're a little less easily led than that though redruth. Plenty of times this season we've been prepared to hold our hands up and admit we weren't the better side.
