Agree with this. I wasn't calling for Rosie's head on the one hand, but I wasn't blind to the flaws in our tactics under him either. For me, Walter has to deliver straight away and nothing less than a top 6 finish will justify the changes we have made. If it's a gamble that pays off, we will all be happy. If it's a gamble that doesn't, I'll be leading the "Get the Germans out of Hull" chant.
I think we can all agree if he gets less than 3 wins in our first 13 games then he's worse than Rosie - hopefully that puts it to bed now
So acun has no brain to think for himself? Complete ****wit who just listens to posters on here? Laughable
It is spot on. We just set up in a way that made it so easy for teams to do that to us because we played at such a slow and tepid pace. We liked playing better sides and often went toe to toe with them because they came at us. The games we should’ve been winning though teams had a simple blue print to get something from us and Rosenior didn’t address that all season, playing risk averse and defensive football to minimise chaos in games. BORING BORING BORING
I'm also excited for next season but also have a fear that this open attacking style we're told to expect will suit the opposition more than us and yes we'll see a lot of goals but ultimately concede more than we score. Obviously hope I'm wrong.
I think this is a good, fair post. As somebody who thinks the opposite and that we have made the right decision (not that Liam deserved it), I will be one of those who will be sat there smug if it does pay off, and I too, will hold my hands up if we don’t make top 6 with Tim Walter. Trust in Acun. UTT.
I'll take an exciting 4-3 win and a 4-3 loss over two dull home draws.....guess all that matters is where we are end of the season, twt as the kids say!
I suppose it does not matter as they don't need promotion and don't intend to sell the boys toys club.
