I do think you either back him or sack him. For now at least to clarify Bruce's position something should be said, if you are going to give him a few games give him a vote of confidence. If you aren't even interested in getting rid come out and say so. I think the silence is a bad move for all concerned. It will do nothing to get the fans back onside.

Well it's dark o'clock and jack **** from the club. I've got to say that I'm very disappointed with how the club are managing this. As others have said, say something, because the silence just fuels the rumour mill. Reading various websites and news reports, suggests he has Wolves and Blackburn games to save himself from the sack. I believe that he has gone beyond the point of no return. Steve Bruce has absolutely no chance of getting the fans back on side, so it's best that he leaves before our next home game against Blackburn, if we all want to avoid the ugly scenes that occurred on Saturday. If I was Ellis Short, I would not want to put Steve Bruce in the position where he could get slaughtered by the fans again, so put him out of his misery Ellis....
