Good on him, I've only been in a propeller plane once. It's a different experience, I thought it felt a bit more precarious, you feel every minor change in how it manouevres, but have to say I really enjoyed the buzz.

I've been in a Hercules a few times and much prefer that too the jet engines.

 

Unless you get a cab. Nothing in the rules about walking up it. Winnings more than pay for the cab. It’s a no-brainer. Added bonus of not having to walk up a few hundred steps.
