Agreed with that. I am broadly positive about KLD + KS. However, we've heard so much about "not playing with a traditional 9" and supposed false 9s. To do that, you need to have quick attacking midfielders willing to run beyond the false 9. Literally all of our wingers want the ball to feet. It's almost as if they are recruiting for individual positions without thinking of how all the parts are out together. Surely they can recognise it too and learn from their mistakes. I don't expect them to get everything perfect every time.
You certainly can m8, and again, it’s only my opinion, he won’t give a flying **** unless several thousand customers start feeling like you do, and season ticket renewals tend to say that’s not happened yet? I’ve renewed btw for reference, as have all 13 of us who go together, none of us are particularly inspired by what we’re seeing and experiencing, but hey ho better days are just around the corner, it’s like a mantra but we all know it’s bollocks.
Wholesale change and amend are different things. If we can’t retain or recruit because of it it’s not right is it.
I'm not really sure what you're saying. Are you saying that having a DoF/Head Coach set up is preventing us from retaining and recruiting coaches and players? It's such a common way of doing things that I just don't believe that is the case. If you're saying Speakman isn't up to it, I agree that that is a possibility.
I’m saying that the system and approach is not creating safeguards and counterbalances so needs altering. Partly that’s personnel of course, but it could happen again with a different set of flaws. It needed sorting before this crucial window and crucial round of decision making. If KLD and his board have changed nowt after last year prior to this window they also need additions. .
Its about 12 hours old, caused mental breakdowns and flushed a lot of ****e out of the system on both sites
Because he's out of his depth and the system is flawed - you are ruling out a large number of prospective head coaches by the insistance on having to work with the existing coaches who aren't very good and who will report back to the sporting director. How many times over the last 6 months does this need pointing out?
The system isn't flawed. Your argument is that some of the staff aren't good enough, which is a completely different thing. Plus, it's purely speculation that Dodds and Proctor are preventing us appointing a coach. And they should report back to the sporting director; its supposed to be a team effort- the DoF and Head Coach aren't in competition with one another.
