All I'll say on transfer rumours at the minute is it's the period in the year where the sports writers have nothing to do, sat at home rather than going to games and an awful lot of rumours start sounding factual. The reality is most football people are either preparing for international tournaments or away on holiday. Only one's that go into overdrive at this time of year are the agents.
I'd say Tosin's agent's been working overtime drip feeding stories to the press all over the place. So questions needing answered are is he trying to lure a certain club? Is he trying to get higher agents fee? Is he trying to get a higher wage? So far this summer he's been signing for Spurs, Us, Man Utd and now Chelsea.
And here is why not being in the conference is a good thing https://x.com/NUFC/status/1795772841209557310?ref_src=twsrc^tfw|twcamp^tweetembed|twterm^1795772841209557310|twgr^c5367ac9a7e74ec9188e0447974758e34e395949|twcon^s1_&ref_url=https://newcastle-online.org/index.php?app=coremodule=systemcontroller=embedurl=https://twitter.com/NUFC/status/1795772841209557310
