On another forum of ours, the most liked post was. I hate losing, I can sometimes take a draw but I always want to win. Today I hated the fact we lost but have mixed feeling about it, do I want next season to be struggling again in the bottom 5 of the Premier, or enjoying being a top 6 team in the Championship.
balanced post Sir. When i bored people rigid here with xg stats last season when we got relegated (where we consistently created more than the opposition and lost) i was regularly reminded that: the side defending the lead often sits back (especially true in a game of such magnitude). Without the goal the game may have panned out completely differently. For me the point was you defended well and we didn't have the guile to break you down. Fine margins but a fair result. Good luck next season.
It will be fun watching Ipswich beat the 9-0 thrashing record at least that they set in 1995 against Man United
I remember beating them at home that season. What a United team that was. The same 3 points off United next season? I’ll take that. Losing 7-1 to Posh in the Championship was a LOT worse.
Ipswich have been dog **** for the last 23 years . Giving it the billy big nuts on the Leeds forum is pretty daft . The over confidence is just going to make it worse next season . Unless they spend £150m plus they don't stand a chance of survival & even that's not guaranteed these days .
Mate where you been hiding, didn't you realise they are now the best run club in the world, from the top to the bottom, with the best and loudest support out there. And they have the audacity to call us arrogant and deluded. Yes they've done very well this last 2 seasons but anyone would think they're champions league ready listening to them.
It's good to see little clubs challenging the status quo. Let them have their time in the sun. It won't last long.
Come on boys, play nicely. Ipswich have been a breath of fresh air this season. I hope they go well next year and if they don't, it will be nice to ask Spanish a few questions.
Yep, by our standards and levels we’ve been dog ****. By Norwich standards, levels and ambitions, just below par.
If Ipswich's ambition was to spend over 2 decades languishing in League 1 & the Championship whilst Norwich are the most promoted side in Premier league history, not beating us for 15 years . Then that's not very ambitious. I was happy Ipswich had a good season but arrogant fans like yourself that haven't had **** all to say for 20 plus years trying to Wum Leeds & Norwich is pretty tragic.
Gents, would you like to take this spat to your own boards, I have no interest in either of your clubs other than well done to Ipswich for seeing us off.
