You never know what you really have until its taken away. I don't mind telling you that I shed a tear when I heard that Gary Speed had taken his own life. He was an absolute legend for us, helped us win promotion to old old division 1, and was instamental in us winning the league title two years later. I look back only with fond memories. Gary Speed, we love you. Rest in peace. On the pitch by all accounts we were awful, and deserved to lose. My opinion would be to get rid of Miller and Snodin and get a better back room staff starting with an experienced and high profile defensive coach. Nuff said over to you... Song of the day We will rock you (Queen) No one but you http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Std_v5Xc-OQ
Morning all. Not a lot to say after yesterday. Would suggest song of the day being Mae Hen laid an eggae (Welsh National Anthem) in tribute. But on reflection, Marching on Together if that's what the Kop would have been singing in '92. Suspect there'll be a minute's silence/applause before tomorrow's game. Would be nice if whoever normally wear's the No. 11 shirt were to wear a different shirt for tomorrow or Saturday as a mark of respect. Either way, I'll take a win & 3 points please.
Just read that Grayson started at Leeds on the same day as Speed when they were both 14 yo school boys
They also did there coaching badges together. Did you see Shay Given at the liberty yesterday?
