This is the problem, you think Putin will stop. Life would be simple if things were that easy.

 

Putin won't be there forever mate. Russia will come good eventually. In the meantime save lives then play the long game for getting the land back.

 

Would you be cool if Putin put missles launchers on the moon?

 

They have plenty of Putins on standby, gambling on things maybe getting better isn't a safe bet.

If there are plenty of Putins on standby then how is Ukraine ever going to win this war?

 

Just like Finland and Afghanistan did beforehand. Kill so many of them that they give up and **** off forever.

 

I can talk about the ten years in Afghanistan. Different times, different terrain, different warfare Toby. Ten years in the Donbas has taught us that.

I think it's tragic just like the Ukrainian losses. But Putin and the U.S. don't give a fck.

I appreciate you think Ukraine will win this war. You're one of the few who believes it, which is fair enough. I didn't know that before. But most of the ppl in power advocating for it and providing arms, don't. So I have complete contempt towards them.

The Sudetenland approach didn't work in the past, trying to replicate that with Putin is refusing to learn from past mistakes.

The Ukrainians want to fight for their freedom, we have a treaty with them saying we'll stand by them (so did russia but, like everything else they say, it was a lie). We'll see how it goes but the choice is theirs, not us or western tankies to make.

 

Trumps position on Ukraine is more about NATO pulling their weight. He told them exactly what would happen at a meeting when he was President, and it has come true 100%. He was correct in his criticism of NATO, which was that it was largely toothless, as most members did not pay in the required amount.

Putin was also wary of pissing Trump off, which is why he worked so hard to keep him out, and is still grafting to stop him this time round. Like the muslim states, they prefer the left in charge as they're far easier to manipulate and bully. Many of them have openly said as much.

The US pulling out of directly funding Ukraine will be replaced by pressure on NATO to actually deliver.

Trump wants America to get back to a place when they used to win wars

I don't think muskets will do much for the Ukrainians
