The sound was ****e and they just seemed to be going through the motions

 

If it sounded ****e to you, then it probs sounded ****e to them too. Shame as that would kill the vibe on stage if the sound is rubbish.

 

Someone at the front shouted to them, turn the vocals up, he replied, you're better moving to the back as sound travels outwards, dickhead

I did say to my mate, sounds like the YTS got the nod on this one. He's been in bands 25 yrs plus and told me everything that was wrong that could have been put right, meant nothing to me, this technical stuff.

 

Lol yeah our soundman used to explain everything like that to me. I was like 'do you want me to turn it up or down ?'

 

I'm a fan of what Mascis has done as a solo artist. I was gutted when they cancelled Nick Cave because of COVID because Dinosaur Jr were the support. That could have been one hellova gig.

 

Stopped for an ice cream at what I’d argue is England’s best ice cream place. Scoop of Belgian Waffle flavour and scoop of Biscoff. Waffle wins this time.

This one got decent Karman speakers all over the shop. A big selling point, the sound in my last one was the only real negative.

 

Long drive home - called in to see brother-in-laws in Ross-On-Wye - lovely town - nice pint - now home and, unfortunately, back on train to London for work at 7:30 tomorrow

I'm not as im working on an outside job and been rained off.

I have some money to collect and a letter to oist so i guess i can do that instead.

Annoying tho.

Im off to goodwood for a few days on Thursday.

My brother is flying in a spitfire down there on Saturday so gonna do the weekend down there.
