Coalville's in Leicestershire mate - and Thatcher managing to split the mineworkers achieved exactly what she wanted- the death of British mining in favour of cheaper European coal that also lined the pockets of Tory donating mine owners - just as King Arhur predicted ....

You’d think they could have come up with a more creative name than Coalville though.

    Off to change my car.

    Regretting it already really .

Van back from the weekend, all unpacked and back at the garage storage.

Will mow the lawn later, probably.

    4 series.

Seemed pointless driving round in the bigger car when it's usually just me.

But the 5 touring is all the car anyone could need really. Love mine.

Scargill split the miners mate by having regional votes ashe wasn't confident of winning a national vote .

I very nearly bought a 5 series touring after we last spoke about it. I went to see one and would have bought but for the fact it wouldn’t start again when I got it back to the showroom.

Currently in Exeter coming back from the East Midlands. Driving a Skoda Kodiaq which is very nice.

Sat here now exchanging and first impression of the 4 is its a bit small ffs!

I'll get used to it, have had an estate for the last three cars so this feels a bit pokey.

Got the 5 door hatch though, plenty boot space and room in the back.

I just won't be lugging stuff about and having all three kids in the back for long trips anymore. Which is absolutely fine!

It's a nice hotel but one or two issues with the staff being snobby, I've let it go so far but once more and I'm having a chat.
