Anyone seen Dwight Yorke's 'gut feeling' claim about Klopp? He thinks he'll return to Liverpool in a couple of years.

Obviously, first and foremost, that really depends on how well Slot does; if Arne is successful then there will be no position to return too.

However, my main issue with the claim (other than it being based on a guy feeling) is that Klopp as built a reputation over the years of never going back. He won't work with the same players twice, he won't work with the same coaches twice, what makes DY think he'd manage the same club twice?

It's probably a knee jerk reaction seeing the relationship he has with the club and thinking that he'll miss that and want to return. Klopp has the same relationship with Mainz and Dortmund and didn't go back to either. If he decides at some point in the future that he misses being actively involved with football, he may return to any of the three clubs in some capacity but not as manager imo.

Not entirely true - he rehired lijdners but yeah not sure why should be listening to anything yorke has to say about liverpool or klopp - isn’t really close to either parties.

He won't be a manager.

He will be a club president of dortmund I am hearing

Didn't realise he left before tbh

Nobody cared then and nobody should care now

For the record he flipped.and lasted all of 3 months or so

But it was a small club and they may not have bought I to his style or requirements.

If you are not all in then an all in manager might not work
