Your opinion versus how many people and nearly everyone in the industry. It would appear in this instance, no it is not as valid, it just stupid. Ok gramps
i havnt read the facts you put up but my old music teacher once said classical music was timeless wheras 'popular' music is of limited timespanned appeal. He obviously hadnt heard 'bitches aint ****' or anything from tupac
Can't take someone seriously when they rate Queen so highly. I want to ride my bicycle, I want to ride my bike
Does it really matter? There are musical tastes for everyone I should imagine and more than enough diversity to go round. My musical tastes vary with my moods and when I mention some of the stuff I have listened too I get some funny looks ..... like a Des O'Connor CD I bought (yeh I know Morecambe and Wise use to take the micky out of him) and even Vivaldi has had an airing, Nigel Kennedy made him popular for a while. The only thing about today is that I can hear peoples personal choice of music whether I want to or not with those contraptions plugged into their ears and the sounds belting out at full blast.
I dreamed I saw on a moonlit stair Spreading his hands on the multitude there A man who cried for a love gone stale And ice cold hearts of charity bare. I watched as fear took the old man's gaze Hopes of the young in troubled graves I see no day, I heard him say So grey is the face of every mortal.
