Doubt even Gareth could justify including Kalvin ... Jordan on the other hand ... blah blah experience... blah blah squad morale ... blah blah nice hair and shampoo sponsorship ...
I would defo have Cole Palmer….there’s something bowt that kid that says he’s a big game player Would defo take Eze too…kind of player who can make something happen out of nothing…perfect off the bench Both would be wasted by Southgate anyway so not really bothered
... could take Eze AND Olise ... latter still eligible to play for 2 or 3 countries, I believe .. would make perfect sense to play both given there end of season form ... Fosse's pick Pickford Rex TAA Branthwaite Stones (to step into midfield like he does for Citeh) White (if he goes - could also play full-back) Chilwell (provided he's fit - if not play White there) Rice Bellingham Saka/Olise Penalty Kane Eze
England manager Gareth Southgate has picked the uncapped Jarrad Branthwaite, Curtis Jones, Jarell Quansah and Adam Wharton in his provisional squad for Euro 2024. Everton centre-back Branthwaite was key in his side securing Premier League safety this season, while Liverpool centre-back Quansah and team-mate Jones, who plays in midfield, helped the Reds finish third in the top flight. Wharton impressed at Palace following his move from Blackburn Rovers in the winter transfer window and his team-mates Eberechi Eze, Marc Guehi and Dean Henderson have also been included by Southgate. Chelsea centre-back Levi Colwill, West Ham forward Jarrod Bowen and Burnley keeper James Trafford have also made a training squad which will include about 30 players. The squad is set to be officially confirmed at 14:00 BST on Tuesday. There are reports Ajax midfielder Jordan Henderson has been omitted, while Chelsea winger Raheem Sterling has also missed out.
Like Branthwaite, think he could become a top, top CB for club and country. Eze is/ was a no brainer. Wharton is a baller as well, pissed we passed up on him, Palace got themselves a star.

Has James Trafford won a competition to be there or does he have an inoperable tumour and this is his make-a-wish?
@Sucky can you explain this? https://x.com/jim_keoghan/status/1792829763565818268?s=46&t=GjXW4PhG0s7kgSMl8GkTkw
Big shame for us as well, if he didn’t commit to the French, I reckon he’d almost be a shoo-in for the England squad. Him and Saka for RW spots, Foden and Grealish for LW, Bellingham, Palmer and Eze for the 10, Kane, Watkins and Toney for the ST. Some ****ing force there.
Yeah he’d be class and is in form at the right time while Saka isn’t. Expect he’ll take Gordon instead which is a downgrade. Saka is obviously excellent when he’s on it but it’s been a long season for him. I’d consider playing Phil Fodizzle on the right but he’s not dropping Saka.
I cant see a world in which Olise isnt picked, even Southgate isnt that ******ed, so if he isnt in the squad, it must be because he turned it down. He is eligible for France and Nigeria too and he played for France at Youth level so maybe he aint interested in playing for Ingurland.
