I agree regarding Allsop. The stats are damning, even if they don’t tell the full story, but the eye test alone from watching us this season shows he just can’t save for ****. One of the worst shot-stoppers I’ve seen for City.

Problem is based on everything I’ve watched and read about Walter. Unless he’s explicitly told not to play him I can see Allsop getting game time

    I think Allsop will go.

I think Ohio brought something to the table. Three important goals that, by his own reckoning, earned us seven points.

Long term I don't think he's the answer but as a punt I think he probably paid off.

Pandur was never shown where the table was and Sharp basically ate all the burgers whilst pointing at a manky, out of date bag of rocket, saying 'I brought that if anyone wants it', between mouthfuls.

Can't wait for Allsop to be starting first game of the season and the Walter fan boys will be torn.

If the price was right I’d punt on Ohio. He’s got all the physical capabilities and he certainly seems to have a finishers eye. It’s the bits inbetween he’s a bit raw in like hold up play and so on but we won’t ever get the finished article at this level

Pandur is going to get his chance most likely. Up to him to take it.

I suspect Sharp was brought in with a view to merge into the coaching staff in the future but alas that’s not happening either

Not a Walter fanboy I actually think it’s a really daring yet puzzling approach and not the direction I would have gone, as I’ve said before complete death or glory appointment.

I’d rightfully critique that as a stupid decision don’t worry

I seem to remember people saying that it looked like no one wanted promotion when all those in the play off places hit a bit of poor form.

I seem to recall people saying if we made the Play Offs we were the form team.

Depends entirely on how a manager is going to set up on how worthwhile Ohio might be. Doesn’t suit possession football at all IMO but play him like Niasse and use him as a battering ram I think he’d be a bit of a beast. Big strong fast striker charging at defenders always causes panic and problems.

Compared to the other team's around us. Again showing why Acun would be dissapointed and decided he'd had enough of Liam.

Think we were in the top 6 form prior to Plymouth game. I know we were unbeaten in 5 and Norwich and WBA sleep walked into the playoffs

And it's been said we only won 3 of the last 13. It's very easy for the man who's paying the bills to think it was an opportunity missed.

Omur crossed the valley for Greaves to head the winner at Huddersfield so there's one assist without even checking

Saw a tweet linking us with Bryan Reynolds again. He was that right-back we were linked with last summer when he was still at Roma. Ended up at Westerlo last summer.

Both Westerlo in Belgium and Fortuna Sittard in the Netherlands have Turkish owners and I imagine Acun has a working relationship with both since we sold Allahyar to Westerlo and bought Pandur from Fortuna Sittard.
