    This must be one of the tastiest looking play off finals for many years.

    Just watched the extended highlights again and that save by Mccarthy at one nil is absolutely stunning. Lightning reaction save. He might be the difference on Sunday.

    The omens are mixed:

    League 2 play off final - Crewe did the double over Crawley in the league. Crawley comfortably beat them in the play off final.
    League 1 play off final - Bolton drew away and thrashed Oxford 5-0 at home in the league but Oxford comfortably beat them in the play off final.
    Championship - Saints have done the double over Leeds in the league...

    However on the flip side. The lower placed team in the final league table standings has come out victorious in both play off finals so far...

    Conclusion? Que sera, sera

    UTFS

    The game on Friday the Saints fans basically decided that Saints were going to win and there was no other option with the atmosphere we created both positive for our players and hostile for the opposition. A final at Wembley is always a great occasion. My throat has still barely recovered from Friday night, but we've got to make sure we play our part once again. Should be a fantastic atmoshere!

    Mate of mine does that, in a French B&B once he tried to order some jam with his toast, struggling to think of the word he tried preservative, proprietor and other guests collapsed laughing as he apparently requested a condom!

    I know someone who asked for a big chicken in Spanish but he used the word polla instead of pollo, which meant that he had asked the woman for a big cock.
    Cue lots of laughter from the woman and other shoppers whilst he was looking puzzled at the merriment.

    We've got a big advantage over Leeds. We know that if we go up we won't have to play Pompey next season. Incentives don't come much greater than that!

    So those that predicted the decider to go up would be vs Leeds on the last game of the season are correct......

    Luckily we don't have to worry about Leeds having home advantage.

    I think if both teams play to their maximum, we lose this (and actually, I'm okay with that scenario). But that won't happen, realistically. It's such a tough one to call. Leeds probably slight favourites, but not by much.
