Not sure about MON myself Bart him or Hughes as a stop gap to try and keep us up then look at it again at the end of the season, not sure they would go for that mind.
Not bothered about winning stuff mate just keep us up that will be whoever it is their main priority.
Theres no way we would ever get Moysie Wigan, its the worst kept secret down here in the North West that he is Sir Alex's eventual successor (excuse the spelling)
If he does go MoN is the best option for us he can start right away & we dont have to pay owt to get him. I like Hughes but i think MoN has more experience when he first took over @ Villa they were near the bottom & he kept them up. Then he turned them into a top 8 side that is what we need. But like a few of you have said. Who ever comes in will get my full support. Just please be true that SB is going.
i'd go for martin o'neil as he likes to play attacking football whereas hughes prefers more defensive as proven by the fact that when he was at city he got the sack not for losing too many but drawing too many and when he was at fulham they had the most draws last season im sure
A press conference has been set for 11:15am tommorow confirmed some think it will be just to deny rumours
Sky Bet have suspended betting on who will be the first Premier League manager to leave following significant backing for Steve Bruce to go. The pressure was cranked up on the Sunderland boss following Saturday's 2-1 defeat to struggling Wigan at the Stadium of Light, prompting the online bookmaker to cut Bruce's price from 11/4 to evens. Despite Bruce insisting he had a no intention of walking away from his post, punters have piled in to him going next in Sky Bet's Manager Specials, adding to the speculation the Black Cats are set to switch bosses. Bruce made significant additions to his squad during the summer transfer window but they have failed to live up to expectations, sitting 16th in the Premier League, just two points above the drop-zone. Sky Bet's Tim Clement said: "We naturally saw quite a bit of money for Bruce to go from Saturday afternoon onwards but initially assumed it was just a reaction to such a terrible result for his team. "However, some of our shrewder punters have also got involved despite the significantly-shortened price, prompting us to suspect trouble could be brewing for Bruce. "It might be a nice relief for Steve Kean, who was finally knocked off the top of the market despite his side Blackburn going bottom of the table as a consequence of Wigan's win.
