I’d get Sarr off for Scarlett, drop Kulu back into midfield for the second half. The Senegeezer just isn’t with the pace of the game today, likewise Johnson but feel like if the game opens up we could utilise his pace a bit more so would stick with him for a bit longer. Porro playing really well and Son should have an assist but for Maddison.
Decent finish from Kulusevski and there have been a few decent chances, with their keeper doing very well several times, but its difficult to identify one player that has distinguished themselves that half. Son has seen a lot of the ball but has been targeted and achieved very little, Sarr has been quietly efficient and Bentancur continues to improve. But Maddison and Johnson have been anonymous and Sheffield have spurned some great chances too. Must improve for the last 45 of the season - but that sounds like a broken record!
No real midfield cohesion as usual. Really not sure what the solution is that doesn't involve spending huge money this summer. Maddison and Johnson really poor. Interesting experiment playing Kulu as CF and he's rewarded it with a well taken goal.
