What?? Other Clubs have spent £400m …or was it euros…as well as us. I thought we were the only ones who spent any money was that with inflation…or was it interest…anyway….
Yeah I agree with him too..... Howe is just what Mark Hughes was to Man City. Sooner or later the club will be in a position to go again and that'll be when Howe's replaced unless he suddenly starts doing significantly better.
Howes a step in the evolution but never going to be the one in charge if the ambition is to win things. Wonder how the board sees it? It’s unilaterally accepted Howe won’t win anything. So how long do you leave it before pushing on?
Newcastle will stand still at best with Howe from now on and they'll get rid when the next bad run of results and injury crisis comes.
Unilaterally? Anyway, I think he could win us something. If we get into the European Conference League, then that is something I believe we have a good chance of winning with EH in charge. As I have said before, I think the Owners will see how we are doing about Christmas time and then review what to do. It then depends upon whether we do push on next season or not. Given what he has achieeved so far I do think it's nonsensical to be doing anything now/summer.
