balotell is reported to have thrown a strop after the game and gone off on his own slamming doors - mancini was asked what he said to balotelli at the touch line - he seems to have the same memory problem that wenger has with his eyesight - told the reporter he couldn't remember what he said to balotelli
Was going to post earlier how I could see us frustrating Balotelli and maybe worth a cheeky bet on a red card...anyways...thank you very much Mario, won me £80.
Maybe he didn't remember. He was focusing on a pretty intense game. But Balotelli has really put us in a pickle now seeing as we only have 2 senior strikers next game. Not to mention that the last 10 minutes of today's game could have been completely different.
We could have easily won but at the same time we are lucky to have Pepe in goal to pick up at least 3 heart attack moments with our back passing. Enrique had a mare at times, otherwise solid.
We could have won 4-1 & you know it. Haven't seen City so dominated this season. You were lucky Hart had a season-best performance.
I thought Liverpool shaded it and we were under the cosh when we went down to 10 men but when alls said and done it was just a really good tense match. The much maligned Lucas dominated the second half,it's a pity Suarez spoils it a bit with his Tom Daley acts and if anything his constant throwing himself to the floor stopped the game too much for Liverpool to really build up a head of steam. Delighted with the point
The ref was gash, Suarez is worse than Di Maria for diving, Hart was motm, Liverpool were unlucky, we looked fooked from the 60 minute mark.
Shaded????? bloody hell, that wasn't shaded, that was coloured in scribbled all over and then topped off with several layers of dulux one coat just to be sure.
I wouldn't say Liverpool dominated till Ballotelli was sent off. Better team yes. But for every save Hart made Reina made one too. Reina covered Enrique's mess, Silva's chance at the end with 3 liverpool players on the line. Liverpool were unlucky but never once looked like thrashing us 4-1
City have twatted teams in the Prem this season(check your goals for)including United,Ballotelli was only brought on because we were battering you in the 2nd half and Mancini(to his credit)was chasing the win. Check the stats,we had more goalscoring opp's than City and it was never gonna be a copy of your result at OT or anywhere else City have played away this season. PS. What score was it before the City player that got sent off came on?
