Very predictable first half really, well on top possession wise but barely any chances. Need a goal obviously but can’t see where it’s coming from at the moment

Can’t really blame them, the blueprint to beat us is to keep it tight til the last 15 then press and wait for a mistake
Started off well enough but became slower and more predictable as half went on. Could see them growing in confidence. Game has a 1-0 either way feel about it.
A decent first half without carving them open but they are defensively solid anyway. I said the other day that I thought they were vulnerable to the ball over or through the CBs and that looks the case. Just need to spot the runs more quickly and for the receiving player to control the ball. Fraser has done some good covering.
Expect WBA to come at us hard for the first 10 mins second half to try to put themselves in front. Then drop into the 5-4-1 again. Not a lot of space in the final third, that through ball is the most likely route for a goal.
The long through ball has looked effective a couple of times but poor control from Fraser and Armstrong has stopped it. The game is playing out exactly like West Brom would’ve planned so far
Oh and whoever thought about putting the extra hoardings on the edge of the grass to stop their long throw specialist from having a decent run up, deserves a pat on the back.
