This is good news tbh... Dubravka was ok for the old Newcastle but he's shown to be pretty dreadful this season. Slowly but surely the depth is being improved and I see no reason why Newcastle can't fight for the top 8 regularly for the next 2 or 3 years.
He's not that bad mate.. much better than duds and better than Pope with his feet.. I think people were hoping for the Valencia dude but he doesn't fit the Howe profile.
We should be aiming for better than Pope though, cos he isn't great either, he's good but that's it. We need to be signing more Botman's, Bruno's and Isak's if we want to progress, real quality.
It's been quite clear for a while that Howe likes signing his mates. Has ramsdale ever played under Howe? I don't mind he just a keeper, but I expect the same sort of thing in all other areas.. just a bit underwhelming, safe and easy to manage is our mantra.

We are aiming higher, we just need to take some small steps to get there. Remember it's a longer term project. We just massively over achieved last season and then couldn't maintain that same trajectory this season. We are not the only ones spending big money.
Exactly. I'm trying to be slim but doing it slowly and steadily, with small steps. Mostly to the fridge and back.
