You know about the evening with klopp event?

Some of the usual outlets thst have a go are reporting the club is having to reduce the ticket prices to get a crowd.

Klopp saying he wasn't really interested in doing it but the club wanted him to probably didn't help <laugh>

Eric Clapton doing a concert in Liverpool shouts 'for Jurgen' and plays a few bars of YNWA <applause>

Said in his news conference earlier about the recent pics of him standing in empty stadium he didn’t want to do that but club made him do it.

He is proper honest and refreshing, doesn’t really like all the bullshit that goes along with being famous and manager

Ah, I didn't see that. Tbh I'm avoiding watching his leaving interviews. I still can't believe he's going. I don't get on well with change.

Thoughts on slot confirming his own appointment before klopp is gone?

    Own goal?

Not really. Nothing official been announced and klopp is leaving of his own accord. He even said it’s good he wants the job

Don't see why. Klopp leaving is official, why not confirm his replacement at the earliest opportunity?

I like what I've read about Slot and his man mamagement. I'm aware that a lot of what I've read is biased as its from the Dutch media but the alternative is to read baseless claims in the English media about him being the next Ten Hag.

You know by now what I think about announcing replacements before the incumbent has left. To my mind it's disrespectful.

While the new man will get my support, my instincts are telling me he's not the one. Confirming his own appointment isn't a good start. Hope he's not in the stands at the weekend.

Why would they? No point confirming new appointment of a guy that still has a contract and is managing another team while league season hasn’t finished.

He probably can’t sign a contract until all the formalities are done so lfc can’t officially announce anything until then but Feyenord already confirmed he’s leaving so

This is the second time Slot has spoken in public **** joining Liverpool, not making a great first impression for me (in media duties)
