Apparently we have been offered Ross Barkley on a free transfer by his agent.

 

Seems about right for a club of our ambition.

 

We've gone from 13th to 8th basically for the price of about 300 million... that's pretty **** tbh.

I'd be pleased with Rambo coming in, good keeper, top lad and he knows Eddie. Think he's a step up from Pope personally but not much between them either way you slice it. Certainly if Dubravka and Karius are off it is a very good signing.

 

Would certainly be good competition. But will either be happy sitting on the bench? It's always the issue with goalkeepers. You want at least 2 quality keepers, but hard to keep both happy.

 

Long term its a very good signing. Like I say I think Pope is below him in the pecking order here and in the England squad, is younger so has more longevity and I'm worried about Pope's injury, apparently he had the same issue at Burnley a few years ago and the more it goes the more it's likely to go in the future as well.

 

Unless it’s for under £25m then I would have gone for the Valencia beast
