We could also still appoint our first choice, we’ll never know who that is anyway, pointless worrying until anything is confirmed
I’m certainly not worrying these days I’ve realised we’ll be playing at this level for a very long time.
It's quiet out there. It's too quiet. And that's just the way I like it! I'll quite happily wait for the club to make to make an appointment and then I'll make my judgement. After all we have no say in who the club wants to appoint, so what's the point in getting worked up about it. I'm quite looking forward to the appointment of the new head coach and their plans for next season as I think (hope) that lessons have been learnt and that we will have a much better season. I'm not saying that we are going to storm the league but an improvement in the playing staff and how we use them to get us challenging for the play offs would be quite acceptable. Damn my optimism
At one time there were more leaks than Old Trafford coming out of the club, gone are the days where our transfer targets / managerial targets are openly known and rightly so. Just shows the club are a much tighter professionally run establishment these days, could be that KLD has finally ran the snitches out of town ! I am not happy about this been drawn out this long but I firmly believe KLD is all over this and when we least expect it there will be a sneaky little update on Twitter then within hours there will be our man sat at the media desk grinning.
If Mike Dodds is the assistant to whichever Head Coach comes in, at least then we'll know the likes of Still will have turned us down. No way would he come in without his brother despite obviously wanting the job. Basically if Dodds is the assistant, then that probably is what the hold up has been...trying to get a head coach to come in without a backroom team...as Nixon alluded to.
Does Still obviously want the job? I don't believe that the club would approach Still and not expect that he'd want to bring his brother. Everyone knows they're a team and the club would be well aware of that. But if Dodds is the assistant, that doesn't necessarily mean other people have turned it down. It could just be that the first choice is happy to have Dodds as his assistant.
Rosenoir seemed like an exciting and talented coach a year or two back but I’ve shallowly gone off him due to the views of his teams being boring. Do you knowledgable people know what his coaching style in training is supposed to be like and how he’s viewed inside the game by other coaches?
I’m sorry I can’t find it but there’s a 15 minute or so video about with Rosenior miked up for one of his Hull sessions which I’m assuming would provide some insight into that. I haven’t watched it either so not much of a post really! Sorry.
