so so glad we took the 20m for him in the summer. Just watched the Liverpool vs Manchester City game there and the lad is totally out of his depth for a top club, he is a mid table player at best and I aint sure if he will improve much because what does the lad actually do? He has no blistering pace or a killer pass but thats not our problem anymore. The problem is how much of the 20m is left if any along with the 24m for Bent and the 6m loan fee for Gyan. We need 6players IMO and atleast 3 of them in January
Cracking bit of business to get what we did. I fear however Ellis will never release the funds whilst SB is there. No guarantee he will release anything significant at all. Once again we are looking at bringing in a minimum of 3 players in January imo which really after 5 transfer windows of bringing quantity over quality should not be necessary.

He was playing against the best team in the prem by a long way and I have nothing bad to say about him after the performance. Looked solid and certainly more likely to assist/score than Downing or Kuyt.
Thought a lot of Henderson when played correctly but, this move has come about 2 or 3 years too soon for him give him the time and he will be a very good player. A great move for SAFC a bad one for him.
I hope he can find his feet (or come back to us for a while! ), would hate to see such potential go to waste.
