It happens when you have 8 -12 seniors to integrate after every window as well.

 

That’s when you adapt and simplify things not overcoach from the off making it near impossible for players to have impact in the short term

 

Perhaps, but my concern isn't just what's happened in the past, it's a lack of squad/coaching stability going forward also, and the churn we've seen in the last 2.5.years isn't going to help going forward if it continues like this.

Interesting. Only concern I'd have with Sunderland would be a potential fight vs them for Delap.

 

I wouldn’t think there would be a fight for him as I don’t think he will be coming back anyway in my opinion.

They haven't been spending that kind of money of late, but if Clarke is sold that might bring them into contention - though they'd have other positions to cover as well with the money, and some will go to offset running costs.

The model at Sunderland is to buy young and develop players for profit - even more than we tried to under Rosey, they have less experience in the squad even than we have.

The main problem I see for Rosenior or any other manager going in there is a very impatient fanbase who wants to be competing for the premier league. Will he be given time and or funds to make that a reality?

 

Aren't 95% of clubs trying to buy young players , develop them and sell them on ?

 

They are to a greater or lesser degree, but Sunderland is a bit of an extreme case - certainly if this past season is anything to go by.
