And it's not just Cornwall, even the protests over the Bibby Stockholm, were nothing to do with it being completely inappropriate, but it's because you know damn well areas don't want the migrants, so they look for whatever excuse not to take them, and the Bibby was a reasonable argument, but let's not pretend there wasn't an ulterior motive hidden within the message. Wales is just as bad, well they don't really make excuses, they are like the Irish, straight talking, fook off...don't get me wrong, I've no problem with people complaining, just stop pretending it's because they care about them.

 

Cornwall's got a fair representation of migrants, but events like Helston Flora day is traditionally not where you'll find them.

I think the Chinese were the biggest ethnic population down here up until a few years ago, but I'd imagine that's been overtake by Polish / Eastern europeans now

 

That's not really relevant to my latter point that you've quoted though, which was migrants that come over on boats in recent years. The Polish and Eastern Europeans have nothing to do with it, well I suppose you could throw Albanians in there but they've been sent home anyway.

Okay bro whatever I skimmed through the thread and saw some Flora day pics and references to migrants.

 

I thought your comments about how you obtain the Daily Mail were funny, I wondered.why you always banged on about it so much, now I know.

 

My folks always bought the Mail, so I read it as a Teenager and developed a deep disdain for it then.

One of my claims to fame is that I've had a couple of letters published in there though.

Best use is to get my wood burner going in the winter though lol
