Surely part of the health of this little forum is that we all make contributions, raise new points and start threads that increase the traffic but, most important of all, give a laugh ffs ...the forum is worthwhile and good fun but pointless if it's bringing us all down.

The whingers tend to just feed off other posters and pick the same old arguments. They don't start threads on interesting new subjects, or memories of days/games gone by, and know a thread whinging about our last manager will end up with just the same half dozen bleating about how it's simply not acceptable and how furious they are.

The rangers fans were sick of Beale - Speakman didn't do due diligence - read post again of you like. He did 16 games at QPR with bang average results. Speakman knew best only he didn't just thought he did.

Never seen that reported the only report I have seen was when he turned down Wolves and within a couple of weeks accepted the Job with Rangers

He also said we were constantly succession planning a while back and would always have someone lined up - well it's nearly 3 months since Beale went and there's still nobody in post and this is an important time. Sorry he is a chancer and a bluffer but you keep buying it if you like.
What makes you think we do not already have someone lined up ?? There have been numerous reasons posted on here as to why no one was appointed or have you not been reading those ???
They have said themselves who will be involved in the recruitment.

All of the coaches are involved with recruitment from the Juniors through to senior coaches as they all have input at a weekly meeting, however almost all of the staff will now be on holiday with family but you assume that it is only Dodds, Procter and KS or should I say they are the only ones you have singled out that are involved when the truth is it is at team of people from Head scouts, data analytics and coaches of all age groups along with senior medical staff involved in the recruitment so again you are only looking from a perspective of blaming KS for anything you can. I get you don't like him and that's fine but the constant negative back stabbing and snide comments become a bit tiresome especially as they are not well balanced or even well thought out.

We're on day 80 here since Beale was sacked and we still can't decide on our candidate, never mind trying to agree terms etc...

Forgive me for saying it but I'm starting to think it's a **** show and I'm struggling for any faith towards appointing the right man

What if for 60 or 70 of those days our top one or two candidates weren't interested in speaking until the end of the season? Just a thought.

Silence doesn't mean there's nothing going on. And it taking a little longer than some of our fans can handle (the season is barely over) isn't an issue either as long as, and this is the part where Speakman needs to prove his doubters wrong, they get a good end result.

Totally agree with you but, with so little coming out of the club, there's obviously an information vacuum. I think our accumulated experiences of the club over the last few (9?) decades makes it understandable that the vacuum will be filled with negative thoughts. Personally, I don't think the current owners should bear the brunt of that though.
