Because he was a poor choice it's the closet to a smoking gun that the anti-KS brigade have ... ... despite the speed of his dismissal he'll take the blame for the former, no praise for the latter. People will cling onto the Beale appointment, the derby allocation and the failure to sign Amad for grim death.
Yeah but there's complaining for complinings sake. You see the same posters poting the same thing and i can see that as well however, there are a certain few that only post the negatives and seem to actively hunt those out and bang a drum about them. Question for all those that seem to gravitate towards negativity... Is there naything the club has done right in the last few years and do the right doings surpass the wrong doings?
It’s more about a handful of terrible posters than Beale for me tbh and the impending tantrums whoever we buy or appoint.
My concern is that, if the new head coach isn't one of the names mentioned (or someone of comparable stature), that we're going to get a similar reaction. Not only did the reaction to 'he who must not be named' reflect badly on the club's supporters, I think its naïve to think that that kind of negativity doesn't put undue pressure on the head coach, whether directly or indirectly.
Might start a rumour about seeing Klopp with a vaux pinbadge on his denim jacket, just for a distraction.
"We would like to inform supporters that the club are in private advanced talks with Will Sti .... shyte, nearly blobbed it there. Everyone just ignore that, we're actually in Ibiza doing f*ck all and letting Speakman take the blame for everything. Waiter, another round here please!"
There’s six or seven of them who fail to grasp how pathetic and embarrassing they are to genuine fans of the club. They keep saying the club take no notice of what they write on forums, so why the hell do you write it. Nobody else on here wants to listeen to the ****e so why don’t the handful of you start your own thread and whine 24/7 to each other
All very quiet mate. Even local/regional/national press quiet...only real noise coming from Nixon..and thats not detailed
He was doing very well at qpr and they weren't bang average. I listened to a podcast with les ferdinando, who was dof, and he was raving about him and said the players loved him. They were doing better than bang average. Rangers went badly but what manager has succeeded there in last decade and his win ratio is probably on a par on with most. Small margins. He was a bad choice but people like you had their narrative of him before he'd managed a game and the negativity just grew and grew and it was a horrible atmosphere. We were even worse under Dodds and the whole thing was a ****show the moment they sacked mogga
No. People would lose the plot if it wasn’t him in the end. Start a rumour it’s Beale or Shearer then everything else will be a bonus
I’d imagine much of it is a combination of people being on their jollies and others still playing, not sure there’s much of a sub plot - we’re just very quiet. Arguably too quiet.
That's actually a very good point. Surely part of the health of this little forum is that we all make contributions, raise new points and start threads that increase the traffic but, most important of all, give a laugh ffs ...the forum is worthwhile and good fun but pointless if it's bringing us all down. The whingers tend to just feed off other posters and pick the same old arguments. They don't start threads on interesting new subjects, or memories of days/games gone by and know a thread whinging about our last manager will end up with just the same half dozen bleating about how it's simply not acceptable and how furious they are ... so they don't post one. NB, I'm writing this with a Beethoven symphony playing in the background so please excuse me if this looks a little aggressive ... I'll try playing summat calmer next time and see how that turns out
Who said they're a better supporter than others? Pretty sure there is just a gulf in the perception of the clubs problems. I don't think anyone has even said the club has no problems.
