Is Anyone Else Worried About Tiote's 'Injury'?

    He was supposed to be touch and go for the Stoke game, about 4 weeks ago.

    Now he still might miss the Chelsea game. If he had a serious-ish injury surely they would just say he could be out for a while?

    Are they keeping him wrapped in cotton wool so there's no injury just before the Jan window? I seem to remember a similar sort of situation with Mandy Carol :emoticon-0112-wonde

    I thought he was fit for the Chelsea game and that they didn't want to risk him at Old Trafford.

    Think the conspiracy thing is a little bit of paranoia on your part, he wasnt training with the main group in photos which tells me he just isnt fit yet.

    I don't think Carroll was injured. I think he got caught doing coke or something. Anyone who saw the Panorama on drugs in football will know that clubs are "allowed" to say their drugged-up footballers are injured rather than say they've been banned for doing drugs.

    I think Carroll was injured... he didn't play for Liverpool for quite a few months anyway didn't he?

    I remember someone said about how they'd heard he fell over in a casino and started cluthing his leg.

    It was dismissed by the 606ers but a few days later he was out with a leg injury..

    He is right to do so. The board told him Carroll wouldn't be sold and left him looking stupid when he was. Pardew has learnt from mistakes and is right to say this even if it is not what I want to hear.

    It's a ploy by Pardew not to play Tiote so that he isn't paraded in front of everyone at the "top clubs" expected to put in bids for him? <laugh>
