Agreed, it's a bit like Newcastle and the UCL or PL - we're much better off trying to win a League Cup or Europa League. England need to try and win this tournament.
I wouldn’t say they are over rated. Some are. But we have a side more capable than Southgate’s tactics
Be interesting to see how this goes... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c1366mpz5n3o No mobbing the ref and only the (C) allowed to talk to them. Not sure it will work and would imagine we will see a few suspensions for pivotal games as they players struggle to contain their emotions especially in the knock out rounds. TBH it's the way it should be but not convinced it'll work.
I agree it's something that should be introduced, but to introduce it in a major international tournament is borderline ******ed.
Said this to a few mates! Imagine Mbappe or Bellingham being suspended for a semi final or something having ran to the ref after a borderline call and picks up a suspension but one of the lads countered saying obviously that's probably exactly what they hope happen, big news, make an example of it and teach everyone it won't stand anymore on a big stage.
