Not you specifically, but others have said he played well. Can we all just agree he's not good enough and put him in the carillo bracket. If you think otherwise I think you're kidding your self.
The 3 CBs means that we are dealing with crosses better but we are still allowing the crosses to come in at too high a rate and too often uncontested by the FBs. Still we need to celebrate a rare clean sheet, although it’s 2 on the spin. Question. What are the rules on yellow cards? Would a yellow for Downes, on Friday, see him suspended from the final, if we reach it?
But probably still 2 brackets below what we need. Is my point. With @Libby aswell ... a water break in this heat is pathetic. It annoyed me also.
Yup. I know he’s young but he’s been given a good go at championship level and hasn’t done much. I’d loan him out to a L1 team as a final try. Yeah, it was only 22 degrees.
Before this game, I wasn't sure about whether we should stick with 5-3-2 or revert back to 4-3-3. And after today, I'm still just as unsure about it looking towards the second leg. We didn't look great playing 5-3-2, but we looked very vulnerable when we briefly switched to 4-3-3 after the double-change.
I think that he wants Jack on the pitch which would mean that 5-3-2 would be a better fit but we are at home so I suspect that he might go 4-3-3 from the start.
Unfortunately something came up so I missed the second half. Will definitely take the point though and especially the clean sheet. We need to win at home against a side we're better than to get to Wembley. Can't argue with that. How did Stewart look when he came on and any news on likelihood of Che being fit?
Missed the game. No idea how we played. Don't care. We drew, and I'll take that. Onto Friday. Damn. ****ing. Excited. (Ps. If anyone knows any supernatural healing powers for Che, do your thing now)
