I absolutely agree mate. That period between 1990 and 2000 was the golden era of films.

Yeah I think movies peaked in line with the right amount of advances in effects. It's all overly dramatic musical nonsense now. I think all the great writers and producers have either lost the plot or handed the reigns to untalented children.

There's probably an element of childhood nostalgia... life was great then in general.

Come on there were LOTS of great movies before that period though.

But agree, not so many since.

Yeah there were tbf but I agree with him because I think they peaked during that time period and have been ****e ever since.

Aliens and Predator were two of my favourites... so slightly before.

There was yes. But that period seemed to be golden

SOME 80s films are classics. Eveything felt a lot more real.

New films are all about special effects and actors who can’t act.

Both amazing films. Also Terminator. T2 that scene when he goes in the lava and the music.

    Still makes me cry.

Did you wet the bed at James Cameron for putting you through that emotional turmoil?

OTR was brilliant until the last one. And then it just dragged on.

best era for porn was the 80’s. Based just on me viewing my dads stash of ‘broken VHS’ tapes which I found… and they miraculously fixed themselves.

I'm more worried about him watching pornos with his own family members in, what with his old man being a mackem and having dodgy VHS video tapes.

The BBC now reporting Gordon to Liverpool... I think we're going to find out where the club really is over the summer.

Liverpool are interested in Newcastle United's 23-year-old England winger Anthony Gordon, who began his career at Merseyside rivals Everton. (Star)

Any deal for Gordon could end Arsenal's hopes of signing Newcastle's 24-year-old Sweden striker Alexander Isak this summer. (Express)

Newcastle are favourites to sign 26-year-old English defender Tosin Adarabioyo on a free transfer when his Fulham contract expires this summer. (Mail)

    All credible sources!

Sesko would be a very risky striker signing for Manu, much like Hojlund has shown this season it's difficult for a young CF to deal with the pressure and aggression of the Prem plus a ridiculously high transfer fee weighing them down. Surely a more experienced & proven striker to supplement Hojlund would make more sense much like us with Isak & Wilson.
