The strange colours in the sky this weekend is a sign. The colours are at their strongest over the little town of Bromwich a small village north west of Jerusalem Birmingham. Eleven wise men (plus subs) from the south followed the northern lights taking with them signed shirts as gifts. When they reached Bromwich an extra player had been added to the squad. Little baby Ross was born by divine intervention. They had to stay in a stable because there was no room at the inn (I blame Swansea for starting this). The beds weren't up to much either. Little Baby Ross was quickly wrapped in red and white swaddling clothes before he could pick up an injury. The next day shepherds from the south arrived to give support and an archangel of the lord, Russell announced the team news. At first they were terrified but the angel reassured them. "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of Bromwich a Saviour has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord". As the angel departed, the shepherds said to each other, "Let’s go to Bromwich! Let’s see Little Baby Ross!" They hurried to the field of Hawthorns and found the Archangel Russ, shoehorn Jack and Little Baby Ross. The shepherds shared with everyone what the angel had said about the newborn Messiah. Then they went on their way praising and glorifying Russ. Little Baby Ross comes on as a late sub and smites down the Bagi. It's truly a miracle. Sorry, had to end it so abruptly. It's getting close to KO.
I’m hoping WBA are happy to play out a cagey game tbh. Neither team will want to be 2+ goals behind going into the second leg so could be a pretty tame affair Then just a one off game on Friday to decide who makes the final, with us having home advantage would suit me fine
Hope Mara can rise to the occasion and put in a good performance. I don’t think he helps himself to win fans over when he doesn’t tend to close down players that well and jogs around as if the game hasn’t yet kicked off.
