You might be unable to figure this out to be fair and I was going to wait for the cult leader to strike and then foil his plot but he will now know.
1.Basically I lost a bet to sucky for a permanent username and avy bet and he let me of indefinitely years ago. 2. The cult leader took a bet with sucky for isak to score more than nunez and he wasn't aware I'd already taken that bet with sucky prior on a forever scale 3. The cult leader has been waiting and thinking he was going to collect my user name and avy forever and has commented to that effect all season. 4. Unfortunately me and sucky are now even so he gets suckys and I walk free....free to take charlies username avy all season aswel. I have done them all.
No I didn't - I said he said he was asked his opinion of them. Its just Chaos is trying to imply that somehow Howe is slowly taking over the important decisions within the club and its clearly bollocks. When I am employing someone I will ask my staff what they think of him but the decision to employ will be mine as its me he reports to. As an owner of a football club the last thing you want is for the manager to have too much control over the club - the manager is likely to be the least permanent employee, as he is at the mercy of results.

That i s true. I think the process is right. They are selecting the right man for the job. One who can work with Eddie. Did you watch his interview with Gary Neville. He does come across a bit as a control freak. He likes data. But he does have a type of player in mind. So mavericks won’t get a shoe in at our club. The club is so much better than now. Decisions are made rationally. A complete contrast to prior. Consulting and opinion is one and the same thing is it not. You consult someone to give an informed decision to influence your own decision making process.
Howe has got more control than we he came that's natural and now Ashworth is out the way and he's promoted his nephew. He's done a great job overall so let's see where it takes us next season.
This is the thing. I don’t mind if it’s the right thing to do and we progress. All excuses aside (because there has been many excuses this season) we need to judge ourselves as fans whether we believe progress is being made both on and off the pitch. With the restrictions and potential closed doors because of the PL and big six I’d say we have progressed very nicely in a short space of time. But football can change fast and if we sit on our laurels and keep using excuses for progression halting then we will fall behind quickly.
If it goes wrong they'll all be right then won't they? It's cult mentality in which things are either all great, the sun shines out the messiahs arse and anyone pointing at a potential flaw is guilty of blasphemy.. if it goes wrong he'll have lost the dressing room, can't get anything right and anyone defending him should be insulted and abused. There was plenty said about previous managers that was overly negative and unfair by the mass majority...They are always on the extreme end in the main. Howes doing a good job and deserves next season to see whether we progress or degress..
I wanted him replaced and still do if the opportunity to employ a manager with a history of winning things and working with elite players indicates he is interested. Howe's done/doing a good job overall and I doubt anyone of the stature I'm talking about is either affordable or interested at the moment. I don't think we'll win a pot or get much further forward playing this huff and puff style because I don't think it's conducive with playing in 4 competitions with what the manager has available in his squad. Maybe I'll be proved wrong, but those are my thoughts and position made clear I hope.
I have been thinking a lot about this high press thing. And compare it to Man City who are the best at getting the ball back quickly. But when they get the ball back they slow it all down. And have 70% possession. So the pressing becomes a lot less than what we do. So your point is actually something I hadn’t thought of before. The high press looks great. But you can’t do that and counter attack and hold possession at the same time. So a change is required if we are to compete on 4 fronts.
