It took the sting out of it a bit that he has struggled to get on the pitch but I'm gutted we lost him! Still think without the injury we would have got the contract situation sorted out before it came down to the wire!

Going in to final year of contract and 29 when next season starts. I reckon they’ll do well to get 2.5m and that him seeing out his contract and leaving next summer is actually more likely.
