Then if I was you I would change teams - Man City perhaps then you don't have to worry about other leagues!
And we had the higher net spend, so another poor example of ambition!! Plus we will still be playing in the same league as them next season
I enjoyed last season more than most of the seasons weve had in the PL Of course i want us to compete in the PL but it isnt the be all n end all - i just want to enjoy watching my team play (which i didnt do at all this season) But youd be the 1st to come on and moan if we had a season like burnley n sheff utd have had this yr
No thanks, id rather my team be in its rightful place playing at the highest level. Abit of a silly comment tbf mate, who doesnt want to see their team play against the best teams in the world?
No i wouldn't at all, ive already stated the fact they are now quids in and miles ahead of us financially so to say that is just sour grapes on your behalf
And getting humped every week? The premier league is a closed shop, it has been since it's conception. But if you're happy with that and 100m in the bank then good luck to you
Hello, is this the non-Sunderland games thread ... ... just wondering. Crawley making MKD look like a fake football team.
So do you think the likes of Watford are miles ahead of us? Leeds played in the premier league last season, didn't beat us and never even scored a goal against us!
How is it sour grapes? I want to enjoy watching my team play, i loved last season - it was great to watch. Your focus just seems to be on getting the money - that is the problem with football these days. I want us to play in the PL, but i couldnt care less about getting the money (which you seem to be focused on). The thing i care most about is enjoying watching my team play, last season was 1 of the most enjoyable ive ever had supporting us. It was a lot more enjoyable than when we used to just survive in the PL - even tho we were getting loads of money
Still miles ahead of us and in the playoffs so potentially promoted. They lost their bottle the last 6 weeks of the season. Thats down to Coaching
Sorry lads, my fault Just get annoyed when i hear the term ambitious being thrown about with no context to it whatsoever Will put the person on ignore to stop me biting
How can you possibly say that , last season was an absolute shambles? Its no wonder we dont agree. On a side note, who wouldn't want 100m Premiership money ffs. 40k average home gate deserves our club to play at the highest level possible
Last season - the yr we finished 6th in the playoffs Aye why would i just want 100 million, i want a club i can be proud of and enjoy watching. You clearly only care that the club gets 100 million and nothing else Anyway cba arguing with you anymore Take care mate but thats me done communicating with you
Err no because we are Sunderland fans . But yes we are sh#t, and from being a fan for many years i dont like to see us being a bang average Championship team trying to be a money making pit with our current transfer policy
